Fantasy Camp Update

Our heartfelt thoughts and wishes go out to all those who have been affected by the Coronavirus outbreak. While this is a moment for hunkering down, sheltering in place, and maintaining our physical distance, I think it’s especially important that we remember to reach out and stay connected to our communities.  That’s why I’d like to ask you all to keep in touch so that I can help keep our extended LADABC family appraised of the health, safety, and welfare of our campers, coaches, and staff. Camp Status Update In response to the large number of inquiries that I’ve received over the last few days about how the pandemic might impact our plans for the Nov. 8-14 camp, here's an update.  I think most of us agree that, once we receive the ‘all clear’ to return to normal activities, we’ll all be overdue for some exercise, outdoors, and camaraderie  – in other words, the wonderful game of baseball. While I continue to monitor the situation, November is still a number of months off and camp is still very much on. In fact, after several weeks cooped up at home, I think a week at Historic Dodgertown will do a lot of good for body and soul. Of course, if any changes need to be made to the scheduling or format in order to comply with CDC recommendations and safeguard the health and wellbeing of our coaches, campers, and staff, I will reach out and let you know.

Stay safe, be well.

Mark
